POSTER INFORMATION

Remember that we strongly recommend the students to present a poster with their recent results or current projects.

Size of the poster: the poster panels are 1.2 m wide and 1.5 m high. Thus, a typical A0 landscape or portrait format fits perfectly
.

Poster Prize: at the end of the School the best poster(s) will be awarded

Note: We plan to have two sessions with short (5 minutes) talks by all of
you during the first two days: these talks will serve two purposes: they will
give a quick introduction to your posters (to be presented during the first
week), and an introduction to your general area of interest. We therefore
suggest that you prepare one or two slides with a short overview of your
poster content and your research interests, EITHER
- in hardcopy (one or two OHP transparencies)
- OR as an electronic file (preferably pdf-file, alternatively powerpoint in
the format YOURNAME.pdf/ppt ) to be brought with you on your USB-stick or on
your laptop, NOT to be sent by email: we won't have the time to handle
these, and instead the files will all be transfered by you onto a single
machine during the first day.
